June 2008 Windows Configuration Change
Using Wireless Printing
Our initial instrcutions for Windows XP and Windows Vista included checking
LPR Byte Counting Enabled when configuring the port. It is no
longer necesaary to enable byte counting.
Since byte counting slows down the printing we suggest you uncheck the setting.
NOTE: You must have "Local Administrator" privileges in order to install print drivers or modify print queues. If you are working with your own personal computer, it is likely that you already have these administrative rights.

- Go to the Start Menu, then choose Printers and Faxes (Windows XP) or Printers (Windows Vista).
- Right-click on IET Wireless Printing and choose Properties.
- Click on the Ports tab and then on Configure Port.
- Uncheck the LPR Byte Counting Enabled checkbox. It should look like one of the below.
- Click OK, then Close.
- That's it. You only need to change the setting once. Now just use wireless printing as usual and it should print faster!
